My first career change occurred at age 3, when I decided that being a vet might not be the best idea after all. Since then, I've worked as a comic book seller, internet stock advisor, insurance cubicle bee, stunt double, actor, voice actor for a language CD, sausage seller, game designer, masseuse, clothes retailer, computer game tester, freelance comedian, waitress in a kimono, dog trainer, translator, chef and mailman.
Becoming a full-time author was really the only logical career move from there.

When I am not imagining people in spicy or hilarious situations or listening to the voices in my head, I play mahjong and board games, practice kung fu, learn languages, hone my Playstation gaming skills and go skiing, horse riding or hiking. All in the name of research, of course!

I live in beautiful Melbourne, Australia, with my loving boyfriend and dominant cat (as evidenced in the picture at the top, she has the upper claw).

The stories I write are inspired by the places I've been to and the people I've met during my travels and, most importantly, during my stays. My books have a multi-cultural feel to them that portray interesting people from all walks of life, falling in love, lust, and sometimes just plain falling!

I've travelled a fair bit in my life (my first passport photo was taken when I was too small to be able to get my head in the shot at the photo booth!).

But there's still so many places I've been to. It's time to travel again, and soon.
