Car Cleaning

Car maintenance is often the last thing on our minds, especially when we have so much else going on in our lives. But if you don’t regularly perform the necessary upkeep, your vehicle can end up looking like this one [photo of dirty car]. Fortunately, there are lots of easy things you can do to make sure your ride stays shiny and new-looking with just minimal effort required on your part!

Remove All Trash and Vacuum

  1. Remove all trash from the car, including any food wrappers and empty water bottles.
  2. Vacuum the interior of the car and make sure you get in between seats, behind the driver’s seat, and under your passenger’s seat.
  3. Use a vacuum attachment (if applicable) to remove dirt from crevices on your dashboard.
  4. Wipe down your dashboard with a damp cloth or paper towel if it has dust or grease buildup on it.
  5. Take apart your air vents and clean them out by using a vacuum attachment or can of compressed air (for vehicles newer than model year 2000). 2a]

Wipe Down Surfaces

  1. Start by wiping down the surfaces of your car. This will take care of any leftover dirt, dust, and grime that may be on the dash, steering wheel, and other interior surfaces. You can use a damp cloth or chamois leather to get into crevices as well.
  2. Give your dashboard a once over with some glass cleaner and paper towels.
  3. Now it’s time to vacuum! If you have one with an upholstery attachment, use this in lieu of your standard vacuum cleaner so that you don’t leave any marks on the fabric seats or carpeting inside your car.
  4. Finally, polish up the exterior of your car with some wax and sealant for maximum shine!

Organize Your Glove Compartment

The glove compartment is an often overlooked storage space. With the right organizing and cleaning products, it can be transformed into a helpful storage space for your car. The first step is to clean the inside of the compartment with an all-purpose cleaner and paper towel. After drying off any excess moisture, fold up newspaper pages and soak them in soapy water. Lay them over the side of the compartment to create a makeshift drain board that will absorb any additional water when you clean your car’s interior surfaces with steamgrønt or other cleaners. Finally, use another wet rag and cleaner to wipe down all surfaces in the glove box, including shelves or dividers if applicable. Finally wipe down any vinyl surfaces for good measure using another wet rag and cleaner.

Wash Your Floors and Mats

Spray your floor mats with the Steamgrønt and let them sit for five minutes before wiping them off with a damp cloth. Then, spray the rubber and plastic parts of your car’s interior with the cleaner. You can use a brush or sponge to scrub away any tough dirt that has accumulated on these surfaces. Once you have cleaned everything, wipe down your car’s dashboard and doors with either a clean cloth or paper towels. Finally, take your steam cleaner outside and steam out any hard-to-reach areas of your car such as under the seats or in tight spaces around the dashboard.

Detail Your Car

Steamgrønt is a natural cleaner that removes the toughest dirt and grime from your car’s exterior, for example, the front grill, mirrors and headlights. The steaming process will not only clean your car but also sanitize it. It is important to remember that Steamgrønt can be used on all surfaces of your car, so get out there and scrub away!

After you have finished cleaning outside of your car, it is time to turn inward. Indvendig rengøring af bil  has never been easier with this three step process. First, take an old towel or rag and wipe down all surfaces inside of your car.
